In today’s global business landscape, fostering strong client relationships is more important than ever. After a long COVID pandemic that tested our resilience, reconnecting and rebuilding trust with our esteemed clients has been a top priority. We were thrilled to host AL, a leading specialist in outside-inside dining, shade & shelter, area management, outdoor furniture, and bespoke & branding solutions, for a memorable visit to our company. This visit not only rekindled our partnership but also allowed us to showcase our new brand, Coets, specialising in outdoor dining furniture and outdoor layout solutions.

Coets & AL: A History of Collaboration

Our client, AL, hails from the United Kingdom and boasts over 20 years of industry experience. Over the last decade, our businesses have shared a strong bond. Our association began when AL placed OEM orders with us during the initial stages of our brand’s journey. As our own brand, sigarten, took flight, AL became a key distributor for our products in the UK. Throughout the years, this collaboration cultivated mutual trust and a fruitful business relationship.

Having walked side by side for a decade, we have achieved significant milestones together. AL’s continuous support during our early days helped us grow and establish our brand in the market. As sigarten products gained popularity, AL played a pivotal role in expanding our reach across the UK. This longstanding cooperation laid the foundation for a strong bond between our companies.

AL’s Journey 2023

Following a challenging three-year COVID pandemic, the AL management team embarked on a journey to China, and we were honoured to be their first stop. We wanted to demonstrate how much we value their partnership and show them the progress we’ve made during their absence.

The visit commenced with a tour of our state-of-the-art factory. AL had the opportunity to witness our production processes, interact with our dedicated workforce, and assess the factory’s capacity and

flexibility. This firsthand experience reaffirmed the quality and dedication that goes into every Coets product.

Next, we invited them to our headquarters and showroom. Amidst the displays of our latest innovations, AL’s manager stumbled upon a captivating photo featuring our outdoor sofas against the backdrop of Lausanne’s stylish Flon district in Switzerland.

Then, Judy, our general manager, began to tell AL’s team about our MAD club project.

In Feb 2022, the MAD café manager asked us to replace their outdoor dining furniture on the terrace. They wanted a layout that balanced the brand’s signature red colour and the community’s beauty. Our designers presented three samples for the customer to choose from for the sofas’ preferred colour and size. The manager was happy with our designs. The renovation project caused a surge in MAD’s customer volume and received high praise from them.

The manager admired how our products complemented the Swiss club’s reputation for quality and sophistication. This serendipitous encounter ignited a spark, leading them to consider expanding their orders of Coets products and showcasing them more prominently in their showroom and onlineshop.
